In an outdoor ceremony May 21, 478 degrees were awarded to members of Colby's Class of 2017 at the College's 196th Commencement. Former Vice President Joe Biden told the graduates to help the nation return to basic principles of equality and dignity and to understand each other's stories to develop a deeper sense of humanity. Colby President David A. Greene handed a diploma to each of the graduates.

Husson University is pleased to share their Fall 2016 Dean's List. Students who earn Dean's List honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours during the semester and earn a grade point average of between 3.60 to 3.79 during the period.
One hundred sixteen undergraduate and graduate degrees were awarded to students completing course work at Concordia University, Nebraska, in August 2016.
Select students have been named to the Spring 2016 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.
Internships are field experiences designed to provide a student learning opportunity under collaborative supervision between Colby-Sawyer College faculty, staff, and work site professionals. Internships offer the opportunity for students to enhance their academic programs with work experience related to career interests in all industry areas in national and international settings.
Four hundred and forty one (441) undergraduate students were welcomed as alumni on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Fayetteville State University's Commencement Ceremony. Rhodes Scholar and North Carolina native Robyn Hadley addressed the graduates during the 149th Spring Commencement at the Crown Coliseum. Chancellor James A. Anderson, in his eighth year as Chancellor, presided over the ceremony.
The Charger Award for Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year is given to the student-athlete who has extraordinary athletic ability and has contributed the most to his team, the College and the world of sport. Presented at the annual Senior Award Banquet, the award recipient is determined by the Colby-Sawyer Athletic Advisory Council in recognition of his hard work, good judgment, understanding and determination.
On April 19, 2016, Fayetteville State University held the Program of Recognition for students named to the Chancellor's List in Spring 2015 and/or Fall 2015 semesters. These students successfully completed at least 12 semester hours during per semester or two consecutive terms for Fort Bragg students, earned a GPA of 3.75 or higher,and had no incomplete grades.
Wofford's Interim is a time for exploration and experiential learning away from the rigors of traditional academic courses for students and faculty alike. More than 150 students chose to participate in internships and research projects during Interim 2016.
